Many college and university professors expect students to keep quiet during lecture and wait until Office Hours to review material.
This practice can send the message that a professor's time is too valuable to be spent reviewing work with students, and some students can be discouraged from asking for help as a result.
Muhlenberg College students consistently and repeatedly describe a culture of academic support, where asking questions and reviewing material is far from a waste of time. Faculty at Muhlenberg are expected to put student needs ahead of their own research.
Muhlenberg has a large theater program, and students who are interested in scholarships are required to audition.
Students can choose business as a major or a minor.
Muhlenberg also has Academic Partnership Programs with Penn, Columbia, BU, and other universities for graduate programs. Interested students are encouraged to "read the fine print" on GPA minimums and other limitations.
